BOOKS FOR VETS

Ten Thousand & Counting & More

Our Books for Vets Program is still going strong- the latest count of total paperback books we have delivered to the Veterans Hospital is: 12,600. What an outstanding gesture of appreciation this is from all the members of our Knight of Columbus Council, Assembly, and Columbia Ladies. Please keep delivering new, clean, and slightly used paperback books to the Books for Vets Box at the clubhouse. The VA is unable to accept hard bound books at this time.

Great Steamboat Race
Wednesday Afternoon
May 2, 2012
Bar Open 4PM
Food Served 5-7PM

Belle of Louisville
vs. Belle of Cincinnati
Why not start off the boating season with a good
steamboat race party at our council over looking
the race course. Plan now to witness this annual
event while enjoying good food, drinks and companionship
at the K of C.
Because of the large attendance at this event,
the parking lot may have uniform security at the
entrance and exit. You must have your current
K of C membership card to park in the K of C
parking lot or a copy of The Good Knight with
your name and address.
