Columbia Ladies
Columbia Capers

Our December meeting was our annual Christmas Party, and a fine one it was! Darlene Moyer as chairperson made an excellent selection for our dinner and as usual Chef Ron did his magic! Outstanding!! There were little Santa bags at each place setting of candy made by Charlene and lots of door prizes for all.
Santa made time in his busy schedule to visit us for our gift exchange and pictures. I understand Santa bartends as a second job. Guess in these times, that reindeer food is pretty expensive.
Many thanks to Santa, Darlene, Ron and all responsible for our good time. Marie Wine won the $15.00 attendance prize and the $20.00 split the pot. Wonder what Santa brought the lucky girl?
Clean up is in full swing at the club during the holiday shut down. First floor is always open as usual if you want to stop by. Help is also always appreciated. Remember, the kitchen is closed until Wednesday, January 4th when it reopens for lunch and council meetings including our meeting.
January 21st is the Council’s Cabin Fever Dance. Sounds like a good time and a great way to forget Olde Man Winter. Let’s all support it.
Hope everyone had a great Christmas and the very best wishes for a wonderful New Year. Mark your calendar, March 10th will be the Ladies Annual Card Party.
Happy Birthday to the January girls:
Jean Deye, Betty Martin, Beverly Weihe, and Denise Crane.
See you at the meeting Wednesday, January 4th.
